Sex & Relationships

"If civilization is to survive, we must cultivate the science of human relationships - the ability of all peoples, of all kinds, to live together, in the same world at peace.""

Franklin D. Roosevelt

Teen Pregnancy

Teen pregnancy can end life as you've known it. I am not putting babies down, I love babies. It's just that having one as a teen does change things. You can't go on to college, your friends need an explanation, and babies take time 24/7...no time for friends or fun anymore. Your body gets all funky and stretched out of shape. And the guy, who got you this way may not be around at all. Use caution and common sense when having sex. Do not get caught up in the moment. "He loves me and wants to have sex with me to prove it." All teenage boys want to have is sex. That is probably their Number 1 objective in high school next to playing sports. Do not be a casualty of the moment, because if you are it will take approximately 18 years to undo what you did and your life will be on hold until then.

For guys in their teens, they are simply not ready for fatherhood. They have a lot on their personal agenda already and it doesn't include getting up at night to feed the baby or sharing housework or childcare. For teenage boys it is not fun to share "their girlfriend's time" with a baby either. They constantly feel like they are competing for her attention to be close, to have fun like they used to. Everything has changed. These changes can cause stress, frustration and resentment towards each other and the child.
